Privacy Policy

SiteProof is an offline-first iPhone and iPad app for creating photo-based field reports. This policy explains how SiteProof handles information when you use the app.

Information stored on your device

SiteProof stores project details, notes, selected or captured photos, report settings, export usage, and generated PDF reports locally on your device. SiteProof does not require an account, and we do not upload your project content or photos to our servers.

You control the content you add to SiteProof. You can delete projects within the app. Removing the app may also remove locally stored app data, subject to Apple's device backup and restore behavior.

Camera and photo library access

SiteProof requests camera access when you choose to take a photo and photo library access when you choose to import photos. These permissions are used only to add images to reports. You can change them at any time in iOS or iPadOS Settings.

PDF creation and sharing

PDF reports are generated on your device. When you share a report, SiteProof uses Apple's system share sheet. The app or service you select handles the report under that provider's privacy policy.

Advertising and consent

The free version of SiteProof may display advertising provided by Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google's consent tools may process IP address and general location, device or advertising identifiers, advertising data, ad and app interactions, performance information, and diagnostic data.

Google processes this information under its own policies. See the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Where required, SiteProof asks for your advertising consent before requesting ads. You can review available choices in Settings → Ad privacy options. SiteProof Pro does not display ads.

In-app purchases

SiteProof Pro is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes payment and billing information. SiteProof receives verified entitlement information from Apple to unlock Pro features; we do not receive your full payment card details. See the Apple Privacy Policy.

Information you send to us

If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, device details, screenshots, or problem description. We use it only to respond and troubleshoot the issue.

Children

SiteProof is a general-purpose productivity app for contractors and other professionals. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly request personal information from children.

Security and retention

We use the protections provided by iOS and iPadOS for locally stored app data. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Local project data remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app, subject to device backups. Third-party providers retain information under their own policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when SiteProof features, legal requirements, or third-party services change. The latest version will remain at this URL with its effective date.
