Help for iPhone and Apple Watch

Start a match

Open the New Match tab and choose badminton, table tennis, indoor volleyball, beach volleyball, squash, pickleball, or tennis. Choose a match type and format, enter names, select the opening server when shown, then tap Start. Manual name entry and scoring are free.

People and teams

Court Score Pro lets you save people and teams in the Players tab. Select a saved person for singles or a saved team for doubles and volleyball. Badminton doubles asks for two team names; individual partner positions are not recorded. Team results do not count toward individual win rates.

Score, undo, and review

Tap a side's score to advance play. Undo reverses the last action, including a point, end change, or new game. The Matches tab separates matches on court from completed results. Pro profiles show saved people and teams with their match history and win rates; saved people also have opponent records.

Apple Watch and sync

To prepare a Watch match from iPhone, tap Prepare Apple Watch Match, choose the setup, and send it to your paired Watch. Open Court Score on the Watch, review the setup, and start the match there. Transfers may wait until both devices are available. The device that created the match confirms score updates; use Retry sync if an update is pending.

Rules and formats

Each sport has its own scoring rules. Badminton uses 21-point games with a cap at 30. Table tennis uses 11-point games. Indoor and beach volleyball use shorter deciding sets. Pickleball uses side-out scoring. Tennis tracks points, games, sets, and tie-breaks. Match setup shows the selected sport's current format and rules before you start.

Pro and Restore Purchases

Court Score Pro is an optional one-time purchase. It unlocks saved people and teams, their statistics, English score announcements, a dedicated scoreboard for a compatible AirPlay or wired display, match and history export, and removal of iPhone home-screen ads. Open the Players tab or Unlock Pro to purchase or use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account used for purchase. If a price is unavailable, check your connection and try again.
